Seal Beach Pony Families:
Welcome to the 2010 Seal Beach Pony Baseball and Softball season. As with every season, we look back and see what went well along with what we can do to improve the league to keep our kids playing here in Seal Beach. This league is an all volunteer organization and the more involvement we have from coaches, parents and friends of our young players, the better our league will be in the years to come.
As we are planning the details for the 2010 season, we are excited to have a few new opportunities to get our coaches ready to make this the best season possible. It is critical to the league that we continue to recruit and train coaches at all levels to provide the fun instructional league we are known for. As many of us played on these fields in our youth, we look back to the great memories we had and having coaches that cared in our development on the playing fields.
Our plan this year includes offering a professional coaching clinic for all levels. These clinics will be designed to help our coaches develop a great practice plan to keep all of the players interested in learning the game. We will see continued improvement in each of the three fields as we get ready for opening day. The field improvement day will be Saturday, January 30th and volunteers will be requested.
It is critical to keep kids in Seal Beach playing here in Seal Beach. We are excited in the 2010 season and ask everyone who is part of this league to do your share in helping out to make this the best season ever.
