The end of the regular season is near, and as sad as that may be it means the Home Run Derby is coming next Saturday, May 19th. Seal Beach PONY is ending the season on a high note with fun for the whole family, including an activity set and a dunk tank so you (or your player) can get a little back at your coaches while proving your pitching prowess. Great prizes are available for both Derby winners and runners up, as well as being raffled off throughout the day.

Come and see if your coaches practice what they preach as they play in Seal Beach PONY’s inaugural Coaches’ Spring Classic softball game, to be held March 31st on Quiksilver Field (Field 1) @ 6:00 PM.

On behalf of the Board, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents, players and participants who helped make this year’s Opening Day ceremony one of the best in recent memory! From the Honor Guard presentation and National Anthem (way to go Reilly McMahan!) to the First Pitch, this year’s event set up a great day of baseball. And boy, did those kids look great in their uniforms (special thanks to So Cal Sports!); even better with a little red dirt and blue slushie added to it!
